How billing works
Base, plus people. That is the whole model.
- 01Set the crew size and pay at checkout
- Stripe takes the first payment when you set the organization up. Card details go straight to Stripe — they never touch our servers. Promo codes are entered on the Stripe page.
- 02Everyone active counts as one user
- Owners, admins, managers, supervisors, and workers are all billed the same. An invitation that has not been accepted yet does not count against your seats.
- 03Change the number when the crew changes
- Seats are added or removed from the billing portal inside StrataCM, and cancelling is in the same place. Access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for.

Is the $49.99 charged per user?
No. It is one flat fee for the organization, however many people you have. The per-user amount is the $8.99, and it is charged for each active person on top of the platform fee.
Who counts as a user?
Every active member of your organization, whatever their role — the owner and any admins included. Invitations you have sent but nobody has accepted do not count.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. Monthly billing is month to month. You can cancel from the billing portal inside StrataCM at any time, and your access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for.
What happens when someone joins or leaves?
You adjust the seat count in the billing portal. StrataCM will not let you send a new invitation once every seat you have paid for is in use, so you find out you need another one before anyone is locked out.
Can I pay yearly?
Yes. Yearly billing takes 20% off both the platform fee and the per-user fee, and it is charged once for the year. Choose it under the total at the top of this page, before you go to checkout.
Are there setup or implementation fees?
No. The subscription is the only charge — there is no onboarding fee, no per-project fee, and no charge for the mobile apps.
Can I use a promo code?
Yes. There is a field for it on Stripe's checkout page, on the step after you enter your company name and admin email.
